Biomass Heating

Save money on your fuel costs & cut carbon emissions with biomass heating

Want to save money on your fuel costs? Improve your carbon footprint?

Biomass can deliver significant benefits for commercial organisations and homeowners, including fuel cost savings of up to 80% for domestic users.

Biomass is a major government priority, with initiatives, such as the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), encouraging more people to use renewable energy to heat their properties. Participants are paid for generating and using renewable energy through the government’s non-domestic and domestic RHI subsidy schemes.

Our biomass experts can help you join the growing number of businesses and homeowners who are saving on their heating bills and cutting their carbon emissions.

The non-domestic RHI subsidy scheme

Who does it cater for?

A broad range of property types, from multiple residential premises linked with a district heating scheme to commercial facilities, schools, hospitals, care homes and registered farms.

How is eligibility assessed?

The survey work starts with a desktop feasibility study that’s based on an examination of energy bills. This analysis enables an energy profile, including information on heat loss, annual heat load, replacement fuel costs using biomass, and financial projects to be created.

Domestic RHI subsidy scheme

Who does it cater for?

Domestic RHI is available to every home in the UK, with the average domestic biomass boiler installation delivering fuel cost savings of up to 80%.

How is eligibility assessed?

Once an energy profile has been created, a full site survey takes place to determine the heat load and loss. An investigation of the current heating infrastructure is also carried out for the engineers to complete a report and quotation.

The report includes financial projections, which include fuel cost savings and the subsidies that are available.
